Moeran, as well as the entire piano works of the English composer Peter Thompson (born 1955), as well as numerous other works by Sir Arnold Bax, Percy Grainger, York Bowen and Cyril Scott. He is also working on the rediscovery and recording of several rare piano works by Granville Bantock.
He is the European representative of the Sir Arnold Bax Society, for which he undertakes journalistic and essayistic work, educational seminars and concerts.
He lives in Milan and works in the insurance financial sector.
Pianist…
Since mid-2024, Ennio Caironi has provided a huge number of remarkable keyboard recordings for Fand, mostly on the piano but with a few on other keyboard instruments. He has recorded all of the solo piano music of Peter Thompson, along with much of the other keyboard music published by Fand. These recordings can be found by exploring the catalogue, on the pages about individual pieces, but for convenience and completeness, this page devoted to Ennio collects all his recordings together in one place. Fand Music Press is extremely grateful for both his excellent work and his superb musicianship in creating these recordings.
Première recordings of music by Sir Granville Bantock
Fand is delighted to present some exclusive world premières by Ennio Caironi of essentially unknown (unpublished and previously unrecorded) piano works by Sir Granville Bantock. We have Twelve Dramatic Poems, Empire March, Melody in E flat, Reverie and The Witch of Atlas.
