Elegiac Melody was composed in the summer of 2022 as a wedding anniversary present for my wife, Gillian. It was inspired by two of my favourite piano pieces – the Elegiac Melodies of Grieg and inhabits a similar sound world. It is of Grade 7 to Grade 8 ABRSM standard.
