…the composer uses tonality in a very individual and original way, with frequent sudden shifts which always hold the attention of the ear. …this is a fine and original orchestral work, very deservedly awaiting a premiere performance; it is certainly the kind of contemporary music that we ought to be hearing much more regularly at The Proms.
